What is a micro-audit?

Our auditing services give in-depth analysis of various factors that contribute to the success (or failure) of a website. We cover everything from getting visitors (search engine optimization) to the website, to ensuring they have the best experience possible so that they return again and again, becoming loyal customers.

Micro-audits are cut-down versions of our full auditing service (more on that below). They contain sample feedback on the following factors:

  • Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Content
  • Design and presentation
  • Usability
  • Build quality
  • Accessibility.

There is a 5-star scoring system rating your websites performance in each area.

Each audit is clearly structured as follows:

  1. Each of the factors listed above is described, detailing its importance in terms of websites
  2. Your website is then tested against each factor using both automated and manual review processes
  3. Problems are identified and the impact of each is explained
  4. Solutions are suggested
  5. An overview of your website is provided along with recommended action(s).

The micro-audit is intended to be a useful tool for you and as a sample of our standards, but remember - it is only a sample! If you like the free micro-audit then don't forget to order a full audit to ensure you are getting the complete picture.

Your micro-audit

Exactly what you do with your free micro-audit is up to you, however we suggest the following:

  • Read it through whilst accessing your website1
